a true coil-over conversion system designed to cut down on inventory levels
and make the installation job easier. The Pro Coil-Over Conversion System
is a complete system put together for the do-it-yourselfers to convert
the rear suspension of any car equipped with stock shocks and springs to
a coil-over suspension. The system consists of six part numbers that cover
any vehicle from 1800 lbs. to 4000+ lbs., making it practical for speed
shops and automotive supply stores to stock.
The Pro
Coil-Over Conversion System gives the end user everything from shocks to
nuts and bolts. The system comes complete with (2) Aluma-Matic
or Proma Star AL coil-over
shocks, (2) variable rate coil-over springs, upper shock cross member,
upper shock mounting tabs, lower adjustable shock mounts, all nuts and
bolts for final assembly, and complete instructions necessary to install
this kit.*
The Pro Coil-Over Conversion System 1 utilizes the best high performance coil-over – the popular Proma Star AL adjustable shock. System 2 utilizes the ride-sensitive Aluma-Matic self-adjusting shock.
* Leaf spring cars currently utilizing
ladder bars will require the use of a track locator bar or sway bar to
complete the installation.
