The
Pro Coil System is engineered from the ground up to offer unmatched performance
for stock GM front ends. The Pro Coil System consists of shocks and springs
designed specifically for this suspension style.
Pro Coil System utilizes the Proma Star AL adjustable coil over shocks and springs designed specifically for replacing the factory shocks and springs. This combination offers ride height adjustment and 12 position valving adjustment for performance not found in other kits.
What
makes the Pro Coil Systems better? It is the combination of shock and
spring designs that QA1 Motorsports has put together. The springs are specifically
designed to utilize QA1 Motorsports spring seats for ride height adjustment,
and to match up with the original spring bucket from the factory. This
allows the use of a longer and larger diameter spring, thus providing better
performance and ride quality. The second reason is in the shocks offered.The
Proma Star AL offers performance not available from other kits on the market.
Compression and extension adjust simultaneously for unequalled suspension
control that you control with one knob at the base of the shock.

- 2 Proma Star coil-over shocks
- 2 Specifically designed conical springs. Two progressive spring rates are available, based on small block (250/350 lbs.) or big block (350/450 lbs.).
- All mounting hardware.
- Deflective Disc Valving - Advanced Shock Technology - Increased compression valving response, control and consistency.
- 12 Position Valving Adjuster - Unique to QA1, one knob changes both bump and rebound valving simultaneously, allowing total suspension control in one easy to-reach location. Now you can valve specifically for front and rear applications.
- Greater Overall Travel - Greater inital weight transfer, easier bolt-in installation and improves ride characteristics.
- Direct Bolt-In Installation - No modifications to be made. Remove the existing shocks and springs and the QA1 Pro Coil System bolts right in.
- Specifically Designed Conical Springs - This spring is designed so that the spring sits on the coil-over shock and the upper end sets in the original spring bucket in the frame. This allows for the use of a longer and lighter spring for more stored energy, offering increased weight transfer. Greater durability and safety is also achieved by locating the spring pressure in the frame and not on a single stud.
