No. 8 Acme threads are machined into the body offering easy ride height adjustments. The valving is designed to provide the best ride possible by using shaft speed control to vary the resistance in the shock. The valving is also biased on the compression side, to let the spring do the major share of the compressive work, while allowing the rebound side to smooth out the transitions.
